do you think "literally" is overtaking "like" as the annoying word people misuse?

and if so, what is the lineage? did "totally" come first?

like serves no purpose though

literally if used in the appropriate context is good. when they dont actually mean literally i always pick up on it and make them feel idiotic

the problem with 'literally'..

..it's mostly used in the completely wrong context. making said word user look like a bit of a dumbarse.

i'm probably guilty of this though.

I do too

I use "actually" and "literally" in like, totally the wrong ways.

This is LITERALLY

teh best thread everz

;)

i remember on the news once

the reporter said the people there were literally going mental. they were at an insane asylum so i guess it might have been accurate

Like totally !

They were literally, like dying!
