There is no better director, in my humble opinion.

A man who directed with a modesty, a restraint but also a beauty that goes unrivalled.

Take the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Every scene blisters with intensity, even when the scene is Lee Van Cleef eating with a smile on his face. It's masterful.

Although much of his work has been soaked into the public consciousness, if you watch his films you realise how much of a visionary he was.

Now time for bed. Night everyone!

At last

someone else who's a fan of TGTBATU!

That's a great parody

Did you make that?

Yeah, college project.

Glad you liked it

i am too

its an amazing film, fantastic score, beautiful cinematography and epic and gripping plot. i think it says a lot about it that its always parodied, its so iconic it has pretty much become the archetypal western. its one of my favourite films. i haven't watched it in ages though, i'm considering watching it tonight now!

Thanks! it is an amazing film!

(just kidding)

haha

your film was great. it must have been horrible shovelling those ice creams down so quick. it kind of proves my point too.

It was kind of a one take thing where we ate the ice creams.

I decided to go method.

I think Once upon a time in the west is pretty brilliant as well, particularly the opening scenes.
