Last Day Of Magic is one of my favourite songs of the year. It's near-perfect rock & roll. And now The Kills have made a video for it, which isn't as silly as the Little Drummer Boy antics of Cheap And Cheerful or as arty as the video installation style of URA Fever. It is, however, very good. Here are all the good things about it: fake blood, vicious fighting, Bet Lynch chic, the actual song, the wish-I-was-there gig footage, the fuck-or-fight tension (bet Ms Moss is impressed that the former lovers are wheeling that one out).
