made my sunday...was certainly not expecting anything that special...the sample of give me just a little more time brought tears of joy to my tired eyes!
I don't think I've ever felt worse than I did on the Sunday afternoon at the Pitchfork ATP, and he completely brought me round, even though I've never heard much of his stuff - he was brilliant.
amazing gigs, lovely fellow, incredible output... until kortedela. Didn't like it, and I've been listening to half the songs for a couple of years. Horrible production; I feel bereaved.
There were many holes I could pick with last night's show, but the point is that I left with a bigger smile on my face than any other show (Bjork excepted) that I've seen this year.
and made me so, so happy I've been grinning straight through this morning. It's an awesome cover, and I'd no idea he was playing the kalimba! Cellist and violinist lovely as usual. His set was really good, shame about the crappy sound during Postcard for Nina, but kudos for stopping and sorting it out. Was secretly hoping for a set a little more different to the EITS ATP one, but I'd see Jens again tomorrow if I could.
Genius.
Yes
he's writes better pop songs than anyone in the world.
And I'm the only one that seems to like his slow songs
he writes!
yes yes
he is so adorable. so much love for jens.
atp = first time i've seen him with a band rather than solo, and it is so much greater
yes
i'm friends with his cellist, Colette. she had a ball at Minehead :-)
she sold me her t shirt
her face is nice
well a t shirt
not HER's exactly
ha
they got her doing merch? she was trying to get out of that, haha
How's about a word in her ear?
She did strange things to me and i'm guessing a good portion (male and female) of the crowd too.
Jens was stunning, set of the weekend without a doubt. That much fun should not be allowed by law.
And he needs to do a release of the extended Postcards From Nina.
Does anyone know if his set at EitS was bootlegged?
i loved him at both atps
it was the perfect time for him as well, first band on on the sunday, feeling tired and hungover and he makes you go -> :) -> :D.
^this
a truly fantastic set on a lovely sunny sunday morning.
absolutely

I loved him at P4K ATP so much!
Did he play air xylophone and dance at Minehead?
Even my girlfriend liked it..
...and she is a Mark Knopfler fan.

Yesssssssss
Happiest gig ever last night.
As for cellist, lovely face and made me feel funny.
Sweden is the future.
saw him in sheffield a while back
he segued from hallelujah into 'give me just a little more time' then back again... I've never grinned so much at a gig. He do that all the time?
he played A Little Lost!
