Wild Beasts deserve your attention for a number of reasons. Firstly, song titles. Vigil For A Fuddy Duddy? Yes please. She Purred While I Grrred? Go on then. Brave Bulging Bouyant Clairvoyants? Well, Wild Beasts, now you're pushing it a little. Secondly, their music: falsetto meets tenor meets undefinably menacing music. Thirdly, (and we aren't sure why this appeals) they eschew "I love you baby"-style songs, instead preferring to write creepy lyrics about dirty old men masturbating. Wild Beasts frighten and thrill us. Praise be. Debut album Limbo, Panto is out on June 16, while The Devil's Crayon (video below) is out on June 30.
