I wear my jersey when I'm going to the game, I wouldn't wear it for any other reason, except to maybe play a game myself.
Wearing it to a game is less of an issue for me
I still wouldn't do it myself, though.

I got the piss taken out of me so much when they changed the sponsor back to Scottish & Newcastle and you could buy sew on blue stars. People down south really didn't understand that!

A Final Score (cheaper version of TOFFS) 1982 (I think) Sunderland away shirt (proper old badge, no sponsor crap) and a Athletic Bilbabo shirt (again, no sponsor crap) for sporting reasons, although the retro one does occasionaly get other airings as it is cool as fuck.
There's nothing wrong with people wearing replicas to the match, at any other time its a bit sad, especially when they're about 20 stone and the most sporty thing they do is lift their giro.
Full kits though: they must be mentally ill, aye?

From travels and other people's travels. I'm sure why I bought or asked people to buy me them as I've never really worn most of them, just sit proudly away in my closet.
For instance; I have an old Lens away jersey, from the mid 90's (I loved Smicer at the time) and it multicoloured, like way ahead of it's time for nu-rave.
I also have a Ajax shirt, form the early or mid 90's. It's a bit special as it's from the Ajax school of excellence/academy. That's right people, I used to pretend I was Sonny Pike.
I'm thinking about trying to get rid of most of them on ebay.

from the 1994 World Cup with 11 Roy on the back.
Also have a Forest shirt from the 1978/79 season.
