Remember them? Really poppy kind of catchy first album that was really good, and then one of the worst albums ever as they fizzled out?
I saw them live with someone or other.
They remind me of Symposium.

Yeah - a shit second album
Billboard Beauty is still great.
get fucked
the second album is great. being released the day they split up, the last song is rather touching - "none of this will matter in a thousand yearssss" wahhhh
aah reminds me of school..
I've got one of their singles somewhere.. forever reeling?? they reminded me of early manics
It too reminds me of school
And Forever Reeling was an amazing song. Loved the first album but never gave the second a chance. Doesn't seem as though I missed out then.
reminds me of being 15
*sigh*
Getting all overexcited at their garage gig because Michael the "fit" lead singer was wondering around.
*sigh*
:D
GERMANY WASN'T THAT FAR AWAY!
!!
I still like their first album, mostly because its awesome, second album, not so good, but good effort!!
.
First album really got me into this sort of music, well done!
.
Ermmm !!!
SYMBOLIC WRECK!
A CRUCIFIX!
i was arguably
their biggest fan ever. I went to something like 25 gigs. Ridiculous.
Listening to them now, Michael's voice is kind of grating and it wouldn't be the sort of thing i'd get into now, but they still hold a lot of nice memories for me when i was 16/17. Awww.
SOMEBODY BREAK
A CRUCIFIX
I'VE OPENED UP
TO SOMETHING NEW
BORN AGAIN
and.. ur.. something.
i loved them at the time. they gave me tinnitus. their tour manager bought me booze in new york. one of them now works for the church of scientlolgy :(
no wai
Woah, other people liked them too?
Yay! I remember e-mailing Michael when they split-up, all emo and sad. Man, those were the days <3
I wonder
what they're getting up to these days...working in HnM?
all at uni except Michael (scientology singer guy)
Conor (guitarist) is at Oxford
Neil (drummer) is at Plymouth Uni
and Tom (bass) is at uni in Canada, amazingly
I remember seeing them at Reading Festival
and the sound was fucking awful.
i saw them in Bedford
on a DiS sponsered tour with Reuben and Miss Black America <3
that must have been FUN !
Kinesis were good at what they were doing. A shame they didn't persevere.
HAHA!
I was going to go to that gig but never did. I was so bad at saying I would go to Esquires but never actually going...
I miss the days of my friends playing in an incredibly amusing Iranian thrash metal band...god bless Alterica.
Ah I was such a fan
I remember quite randomly picking up And They Obey in my local book store and buying it merely because of the cover. They where the first band I really liked and shifted my taste away from Blink 182 and New Found Glory.
At my family home I still have the tour poster I stole from the railings outside there Swansea gig. Ah the mischief of youth.
They were good when they were around
First album was great and 2nd album had some good moments on it. Shame they havent got any new music projects.
...
everyone has one band that they were obsessively into when they were 15, and for some reason that band was kinesis for me.
i have no idea why now, but at the time i genuinely believed they were going to go on to be one of the biggest bands in the world, it's strange.
all sounds a little bit shit now...
