amazing
Chaddeus is the only person in the world who can sing live and harmonise with himself. Outside of throat singers.
its pretty much my favourite song this week
ive been humming 'the refrain' to myself as i go about my daily routine.
searching for santana videos on youtube has become my new favourite pasttime.
this video would be much improved if he played the boxer, although how the boxing theme fits with the song i do not know.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzik1Z6A6xY
'im starting to believe it should be illegal to decieve a woman's heart'
early Santana FTW
Soul Sacrifice/Oye Como Va/Toussaint L'Overture FTW
is it just me
or are there speech bubbles on this video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpPb2cVswlI&feature=related
man i wanna see him live, does he get all his collaborations to come out and play the songs with him?
also
the percussionist/backing singer is the most awesome dude ever
BADICALISTICO
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnamP4-M9ko
do you think he's the only person who went to woodstock and has since managed to grow old gracefully
i like how it cuts from shots of several people in the band to just different angles on his face
in the young drummer's attempts
to mimick the sexface i see a longing to reach the same authentic ecstasy as (and possibly with) his hero, along with a certain subconscious sadness that he lacks the groove necessary to ever reach the same lofty heights
Santana is untouchable
everyone else is a pretender
wait, his whole band are doing it
its like morrissey making his whole band look like him except this is 4REAL
i'd love to be in Santana's band
i reckon i could fill the Bongos #3 spot pretty well
video was awesome
the young white drummer trying to feel the latin grooves was the best bit outside santana, i wonder if his life was ever as awesome after that.
i dont think i could ever aspire to be in santana's band, that's a whole other layer of awesomeness i could never achieve. its like wanting to be mr t or something.
having watched it again
i can safely say: BOOOOOOOOOOYA
!!!
That bit where he goes to kiss her only reminds me of Mike Tyson and ears being bitten. That's what should have happened. Carlos Santana biting off her ear holding a PRS boxing glove custom shop guitar.
Shakira's voice is so weird. It's like their autotuner is running out of batteries.
thatd would make a much better video
you ever heard her sing in spanish
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQNQ60mrQeE&feature=related
she has a kinda alanis like twang to her voice, she also speaks like 4 languages pretty well, i was quite surprised to discover this.
You're right about Alanis
that sudden pitch shift thing she does reminds me of thingy from the Cranberries also. And Shakira is ruined. Well almost. She is four languages pretty.
would this be a good time to reveal that ive
seen alanis live?
So have I
to be fair I was only accompanying someone who actually wanted to go. It was long and not very good. The drummer from the Foo Fighters was in her band making the best music of his career live on stage.
i went to see her in portugal in 2005
at this graduation festival thing they had at the uni i was at (she apparently hung out with the graduates) she didnt play ironic till the third encore :( i told the girl i was with about how irritating it was that people would tell you how the ironic thing about the song was that none of it was ironic, a guy i knew came up to me afterwards and managed to drop this gem into the conversation within about a minute :(
it was pretty disappointing all told
Was it ironic that he started talking about Ironic after you?
I don't even know anymore
:'D
Outstanding stuff.

1. Revision music.
3. I like Third, but I can't decide whether 'Deep Water' is genius or fucking shit. Probably lean more towards the latter.
5. The EP, which is 7.5/10 in my opinion. Still not sure whether to get the album 'cos money's tight. Help me decide, DiS.
6. The first half of Visiter is gold, the latter half verges upon tripe at times.
There seems to have been an error retrieving the charts for this item
go - you're dead to us now
My page is currently showing my chart for last week
I had to press '(see more)' to see this week's. For a while it wasn't showing any chart at all.

9. i'm fairly sure these guys are subliminally trying to convince me to blow stuff up
10 a & b. junoxcore
Juno says
"I bought another Sic Alps album, and it sucks! It's just noise."
she's so right
i was going to do so this month but had a similar premonition, i reckon me & her are soulmates, at least till next month when i have money to make the purchase, that and ghost are next on my list. i dont know anything about ghost but they seem like they might be japanese junoxcore, amirite?
Kinda!
I mean they aren't raw/poorly recorded like the Moldy Peaches and obviously they sound a bit weak compared to Iggy and The Stooges and I don't know what the Melvins would say about them but you should still check them out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4X4huhQzMDc

Fuzzy sort of loud.
Like when you live on top of a nightclub and the loud just pervades the environment. Live they could be ear bleeding. I don't expect anyone to top Sunn o))), Mogwai and Boris in the LOUD BANDS WUT I HAVE SEENZ stakes.
