yeah they might not exactly be doing anything new, but they write catchy punk songs that people can sing along too, they're also really entertaining live.

Wasn't sure I'd like it, but I was converted straight away. It's a summery record, but without, you know, being shite. :P

Here's a few Bournemouth bands worth checking out:

                              www.myspace.com/theolmecdiagram

(these bruital hardcore chaps deliver a fist full of screaming children straight to your face!)

                              www.myspace.com/betika

(Catchy folk like pop, great lyrics, very English sounding, full of charm and wit)

                              www.myspace.com/brenda

(Experimental self indulgent shoe gazing stadium rock!)

                              Something for the whole family.
                            • Re: New bands to listen to

So it's not out already? It was meant for 20th June.

Marco and I have been going on about them for ages.

the line where the male vocalist says 'he is not that fat' makes me laugh as well as him asking for directions. They're cute and twee but not sickeningly so. Isabelle And Leonard, Is Your Sister In Love and the one about Steve Mcqueen in the country are highlights.
