There's a new block of flats

at Salford Quays called... ManYoo

True story: http://www.manyoo.net/

Nope,

other side of town. New Islington is heading out towards East Manchester and the new City Ground. Salford Quays is west in Salford, just near the United ground.

Oh and Man City get called "sit-eh" by the locals.

I can't say West Ham without following it up with a

"CAM AHN WEST AAAAMMMMM"

It's all to do with that Coke advert from yonks ago with the blind man who supported West Ham.

We used to shout it at the small children taking penalties at half time at the Boro games.

Terrifyingly

I do the same thing.

:D

More proof

that you're the same person.

David Pleat:

"The republic of Czechoslovakia"
he said it twice

Compleat tool

How is it actually meant to be prononced?

Is it kind of like Barl?

I'm pretty sure David Pleat just says "Basil".

He also said "Helder Posistiga" last night.

I

think it depends on whether you use the German or French pronunciation.

yeah but

whats the basleian pronunciation?

baaarl

i think.

What baffles me

is why we say "Bayern Munich". Surely it should be "Bayern Muenchen" or "Bavaria Munich". Why anglicise only half the name? Eh? Eh?
