I think it's a silly subconcious thing, but i've never looked at another white male and felt physically scared, even if they appeared obviously mental, perhaps its just stereotypes, or because of previous experiences.

I got totally lost in Boston a couple of times.
The first time I was reassured when I saw a woman jogging with her ipod on, so assumed it couldn't be too dangerous.
The second time I was hideously stoned and was pretty wary of anyone that I encountered.
