Its a complete no-brainer.

Proper strange
I was just going to post a thread in this very vein.
Its definately a toss-up between Peter Cook, Eddie Izzard, Ricky Gervais and Chris Morris.
Alan Sugar.
Tim Vine
Whittle away

Its been Kitson for years.
It's a shame he's never released a DVD of his stand-up
Kitson is excellent
Choice
Kitson is pretty fucking good.
I also like Chris Addison!
Both very true
Mark Watson deserves a mention too.
it is
stewart lee as has already been mentioned.
marcus brigstocke is pretty good too.
and i like russel howards stand up.
and the old frank skinner stuff.
well it has to be
Dylan Moran.
russell howard just says one joke
over and over
but its quite a good joke
Seriously, it's Kitson
He's by far the best stand up of his generation, and his more theatrical stuff is excellent as well. Stewart Lee is probably the only one that comes close, but even then he doesn't come that close.
frankie de tori
obvs
hmmm...
my favourite comedians are daniel kitson and josie long. but i wouldnt say they are the funniest.
the person i laughed most at was russell howard. he was very funny live, but he is rubbish on tv and on the radio.
i like arnab chanda, but he really needs some new material.
rubbish.
i replied in the wrong place. butts.
I really don't get the stewart lee love
he's pretty funny but that's all I get from him.
Jerry Sadowitz or Simon Munnery
Craig Campbell
