when Flair retired at Mania, it was the perfect end to a perfect career - the only highlight of this years Wrestlemania, was the worst one I'd ever seen.

I thought it was quite good, certainly better than last year's. The two "main events" were a bit poor, but it had an unusally strong undercard. JBL and Finlay twatting each other with all manner of under the ring surprises was a lot of fun, as was MITB and the 5 second ECW match was probably all it deserved. Flair was the real headliner. Undertaker hasn't been credible since American Sad-ass.

compared to 23 especially it was pretty dreadful. 23 had that sick Hardy/Edge bump, the surprisingly brilliant Taker/Batista match, and my match of the year 2007 HBK/Cena. Though 24 did have Floyd, so I'm 50/50.
My main objection to 23
was "Mr. Wrestlemania" tapping out to that stupid STFU. Massively anti-climactic in my humble opinion. Although the highlight was Tazz likening Sandman to an "out of control, alcohol fuelled train". Mike Adamle could only dream of that kind of metaphor.

and the tap out was an unsatisfactory ending. Shawn is my favourite wrestler of all time. Everything he's ever done I have loved. Last years Rumble with him and Taker as the final two - chilling.
