I thought they...

were really good, but perhaps could have done more of a 'greatest hits' set. There was no Powder Blue, Scattered Black and White, Switching Off, Grace under Pressure etc etc etc.

However, you can't help but think that when Guy Garvey wrote One Day Like This he had Glastonbury at the back of his mind...

yeah

i see what you mean i would excuse them for not playing those tracks on tour
but glastonbury perhaps should have had them tracklisted

I saw the Queen's Head set too

and "Switching Off" and "Scattered Black and Whites" got played.

I didn't realise he caught The National. As a combined result of him recommending them and people on here, I went and they were great. But Elbow's Queen's Head set finished 15 minutes after they started so we missed about the first 30 minutes. Fair play to him for heading straight down there after his set.

I saw them in The Queen's Head

An absolutely lovely way to spend a Sunday evening. The sun was out but slowly going down and there was a real camp fire sort of atmosphere.

They nearly made me cry.

twice.

Station Approach is such an epic epic song.

Watching them on the other stage

made my heart melt!!!
Loved it !!!

I got to interview...

....Pete and Job who were really lovely. I'll put the interview online asap and post the link. Their Other stage set was pretty damn good, the highlight, hearing One Day like this as the sun set. Just perfect!
