say if you've been taxed.

and Adam Hart-Davis is a massive, nasal-voiced liar. It's a bitch. Phone up the tax office and they'll send you all the info you need. If you're organised and keep all your invoices, receipts etc together (unlike me) get an accountant, it's worth the money. If not, then you'll have to scrabble around at the last minute and fill in a tax return every year, which you can do online. It's actually relatively straightforward but the form is horribly daunting and will make you panic.
Get an accountant....
it'll make you feel like a big dog and when your on the bus you can scream down the phone "I'll have to speak with my accountant before we proceed."
