Ok, so I got this much off efestivals:

The Lemonheads
Okkervil River
Ian McLagan & the Bump Band
Danny and The Champions of The World
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly
Camera Obscura
Frank Turner
Fighting With Wire
Emmy the Great
Noah and the Whale
The Television Personalities
Maps
Lovvers
These New Puritans
This Town Needs Guns (TBC)
Dodgy (wtf?!)
Martin Simpson

And yes, I guess they'll have th old favourites there again this year. And yes, I know they don't release the line-up so that you can discover your new favourite band and such.

But seriously, any more confirmations for Truck? And who out of those should I make sure I see?

And seriously... Dodgy!?

also

Rolo Tomassi.

I believe there's a longer version of that at the truck myspace.

Also, i believe it is *that* Dodgy. There's a benefit gig in oxford for something or other and they're down to be playing that. I heard a rumour of an acoustic set. It could be, ahem, Dodgy.

It is

They said so on a Myspace bulletin when first revealing the line-up.

Hmm, MBV are free on the Sunday

Actually, I've just had an brainwave as to who it might be, and if it is them then colour me excited.

it's not mbv

they've not played for well over 10 years though...

haha

everyone's getting excited at the prospect of Ride.

As if...

that's next year

in my dreams

is that

kind of legends, or kind of reformed? ;-)

er

undisputed legends, kind-of reformed.

Swervedriver?

Spaceman 3??
Slowdive?
or
Chapterhouse?

ah cool

i have an idea who now, i think!

ahh yes

http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z201/thisistruck/tshirtback_web.jpg

good stuff. Maybe I should've done more research...

Cheers y'all. Who's going?

me.

and my bands playing....
myspace.com/itsnuntime
what does jag stand for please? i think maybe i just did one.

I was going to ask Truck if I could play

it seems like the kinda festival that if you asked really nicely and bought them a beer, they could probably slot you in the Tent at 10am on Sunday.

Or maybe it's more of a "rock up with your gear and go for it" kinda scene.

Am I wrong? I fear so.

Yes....

am afraid you're wrong.

Its not massively easy to get onto the Truck bill. We did last year but then again kinda knew some of the people involved after recording at Truck studios.

No luck this year though.

The Nuns

are bloody ace.

I am not in The Nuns.

Disco Shed

is at Latitude isn't it?

maybe

there's a band called disco shed!

and robots in disguise aren't playing either!

Keyboard Choir are missing too :(

But good to see Tom Truax and Restlesslist on the bill. Yeah!

looks cool

i hope i get to see some bands as im helping out at the weekend... fingers crossed

I'm far too lazy to...

find out about all the bands I have not heard of so has anyone got any good recommendations?

This line up looks

fucking good - I'm well excited!

As for the Sonic Cathedral thang... Oooo is it Slowdive? PLEASE??? (have they even reformed or am i talking shit?)

Anyway the festival is going to be tops! Hope there won't be too much mud stopping me from running to each stage to snap though..

well...

the singer from Slowdive is down to play on the Sunday, so...

ignore me

i'm being dumb

(as in, he's on that very stage at 5.30!)

I've just realised

no Trademark! Or AS&AP!

Nope

Truck politics means we miss out on both this year...

bummer

what happened?

Also

Mike Nuptial and the Conjugal Rights on Sunday night in the Pavilion.

Blatant jag.

But you should still come see, it's gonna be the aces.

and...

there'll be some surprises in the barn for saturday too so just stay there all day, right? ;-)

Looking at the weather forecast

I think the Barn will be very popular on Saturday. Is it to wrong to hope that it rains during our set?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2939

that's only a few spots of rain!

nothing to worry about.

is it ride?

;-)

of course!

and MBV too! ;-)

bump

just because its tomorrow!

Wot no Goldrush?

Having not been to Truck the last 2 years, have Goldrush stopped doing their normal Saturday night pre-headliners set on the Truck stage?

They've split up

innit?

They're more

on uncertain hiatus.

The drummer's moved to California.
