Board games are rad. I bought Risk from a charity shop the other day but no-one seems to want to play it with me. On the plus side, I did spent a lot of the early evening playing a board game called ´Stay Alive´ in Fuel. I won, like, 9-1-1 against my friends. I´m basically the king of that game.
Also, Trivial Pursuit is the best board game.

I also thing they're rad :D
MONONONOPLY FTW!
Oh yeah Monopoly too
Monopoly is one of the best things to do when drunk. In fact, board games just generally are. When I look at what I want to do with my evenings, what it really is, is sit around listening to good music, with a bunch of friends, playing board games and getting drunk. Thats, like, something I would always be up for doing.
I find that
board games end up getting violent if played when drunk. Every one accuses fellow players of cheating (especially the banker in monopoly)
i was always a fan of
the game of life.
was always a big family lolfest. i always won, which is strange, cos i'm shit at actual life, and they're all doing quite well.
Tom Whyman
Diplomacy party at ours. How do we make up numbers?
Also, i still haven't played Midlife Crisis!
I don´t know
who else do we even know who´d want to play?
And yeah, might be for the best... but I´ll bring it up, don´t worry.
Scrabble's a favourite
Monopoly comes a close second
Scrabble ftw!
Love that game. Closely followed by Trivial Pursuit.
Risk, however, sucks.
scrabulous has ruined it for me sadly,
i've od'd...
Love Scrabble
but never win, as the only people I ever play with are my grandparents, who practice a LOT, hence often get scores of over 50 per word. One of them got 136 points for Helix the other day.
Ahh online risk <3
VIVA LA RESISTANCE! Man I miss DiS risk, only 4 of us played and my tactics often led to me getting bored and yelling Viva La Resistance and charging the super power... but it was awesome and I always came 2nd
Terry Venables invites you to be... The Manager.
brief description from wikipedia.
'In 1990 Venables co-devised the board game, "Terry Venables invites you to be... The Manager". This is a football management game and is a cross between the Game of Life, Risk and Trivial Pursuit.'
Thats the worst name for anything
since ´Mock Trial With J Reinhold´. And that wasn´t even real.
just get hold of the game
before you start mocking it. everyone said it would be shit, then we played it, and it was 100% fantastic (also shit).
I used to have that
it was fucking great.
Mouse Trap!
Buckaroo FTW
oh and Atmosfear
that scared the shit out of me about 15 years ago.
yeah they're great
but those people who go down hipster pubs with board games are just knobs though. i imagine someone on DiS does that.
What was the one
with the glow-in-the-dark skull? I liked that one. Mousetrap wins though.
Ghost Castle
not as good as Lost City of Atlantis though.
Man Risk is good
Monopoly too, I always win.
Articulate is the best. Especially drunken Articulate.
The best board game is Settlers of Catan
no other board game rivals it.
Apart from Sid Meier's Civilisation board game which takes a solid weekend's worth of play to complete....
settlers of catan was pretty funky
lots of add ons, i only played 2 games (original and knights). I would have won as well, but i was 'too british'. Probably a latent guilt complex.
It's great
I'm thinking of picking up a copy this week :)
RISK IS THE KING OF ALL GAMES!
i want it from a charity shop!
*Puts on wizard robe and hat.*

SNAKES AND LADDERS
The game that theoretically could never end
