If you play 'Since You Been Gone' by Rainbow, I'll dance for you all night.

i got an email from deborah bennett

a couple of days ago, with shift times/locations and such. chase it up if you haven't got it!

no worries

my mate seems to be organising It all. So he had better of got It and sorted It all haha!

Yup

Couldn't make the rescheduled one last year after the flood debacle, so much looking forward to this one :-D

never been to truck

so this should be a good laugh. wish i went 3 years ago, line up looked immense. Is it an expenssive weekend? It can't see it being anything like the major corperate festivals as this Is all set up by locals right? How much do you normally take?

that's all you need.

let's hang like broz

or

dance like bros

*dance to Bros

Question

I haven't been to Truck since 2004 and my memory is sketchy, what's the ground like there when it rains? I'm not planning on taking wellies at the moment, I don't seem to remember it being too bad given that we only had showers rather than an all-out deluge. At Glastonbury even a light shower makes wellies essential, but I'm thinking Truck will be OK. Should I reconsider? It's just that I'd have to actually go and BUY the wellies you see.

I would

also like to know the answer to this question.

Because its been dry for a week or so here. And today is the only proper rain forecast so I was hoping it would be ok to get away woth trainers. Sturdy, shitty old trainers obviously.

A couple of years ago

there was a proper torrential rainstorm that lasted a couple of hours and made life difficult in a couple of areas but it was nothing careful walking couldn't handle.

just take wellies anyway

better to have them and not need them than to need them when you don't have them.

At 2000 Trees last week they were essential and that's a tiny festival (about half the size of Truck i think) where you might have expected the ground not to get churned up and all muddy like

come to dance class!

run by panther girls (myspace.com/thepanthergirls) in the piney pavillion on Sunday about 4pm
you'll learn a dance to do in the piney gir set later in the day....
the dancers got on stage last year but not sure how big this stage is!

Yeah, I suppose

I was just hoping I didn't have to. I've been twice before and I didn't have wellies either time I don't think.

What time does the doors open lovelies?

Also anyone going done on the Friday?

The one for NO MONIES!!!

I have to go buy a tent too...for just little me, hmmmmm cheapsies one person tent, Argos it is!

Look in Tesco

Seriously.

i don't!

we're clashing with the lemonheads! So So Modern will be more fun anyway!

Does anyone know...

When the stage line ups and times are announced as i want to do some really anal planing.

i kinda want to go

i might see if there are any really cheap tickets tonight

do so

my £30 ticket is now on my desk :D

I'm EXCITED!!

Any band recommendations??

all of them!

;-)

I hope he does something from It's A E-Mash About 'Ary

Are we going to run into each other at some point over the weekend? I have a good record of completely missing everyone at festivals.

shit

it is! i just realised it's an anagram!

Ooh, actual stage times

I don't understand that stuff on the Truck site about how "as usual we won't be providing a full line-up", because they issued a full line-up followed by about three revisions before this time last year. I want to know what time to get there, dammit!

I don't either

I'm sure they've always put the line up/times out before cos I remember making up timetables in excel!

people need to know in advance what's what!

Ok

...think I'm gonna be camping out next to the Vacous pop stage! Looks wicked!

looks like

no cobra or skullthrash this year

the bands that made truck for me two years ago.

sunday...

is no longer metal day in the barn, thank fuck!

good choice!

and the rain forecast yesterday and today still hasn't come!

i'm hopeful it's gonna be ok weatherwise!

its going to be awesome

i keep spying bands i didn't see previously every time i scan the line up, its looking great so far. vacuous pop line up is ridiculously good
