It's one of my top 5 songs of 2008, but I hate her :(

correct.

its a fucking great song. fucking great.

i think it came out in 2007 tho?

Oh so it did.

But I'm still including it on 2008 lists because it was on the album that came out this year and I forgot it in my 2007 list.

re-released this year

this week, in fact.

I must say it's a guilty pleasure for me

I do heart it. It gives me spine tingles.

i agree, that piano

is just sooo relentlessly hypnotic.
not sure about the lyrics though

seriously.

scroll down to breathe me and have a listen!

Just listened

to that. And yeah, they sound VERY similar. Sia should sue.

i thought this!

in fact i thought. hometown glory would go really well for the end scene of a TV show, then realised that Sia's breathe me had been used at the end of 6 feet under to great effect.

still though, i listened to hometown glory for the first time today on the singles article on here and was amazed. such a good song

It's good

No shame.

No shame indeed

it is good. Daydreamer is great. Shame the rest of the album is so poor.

i also love

that "sweet about me" song by Gabriela Whatsherface..FACT

yep

me too
Haven't heard the Adele one.

anyone

notice the chords are the same as "breathe me" by sia?

Sorry to say it mate

But I gotta be honest, you're blog is a bit rubbish.

you're 15

from aberdeen AND you like rate GirlTalk 10/10
BOVVERED!

and

zing

What's wrong with Aberdeen?

(I was actually born in London, by the way, I just live here)

and I don't know why I said that, by the way, your blog is actually quite nice...

Still, Girl Talk is really good, and I can't exactly help my age, can I?

nice blog

definitely going on my favourites to be looked at when im not verrr tired

Facking hell

i've just heard that song for the first time. Its AWFUL, and a massive ripp off. The phrasing and melody of her vocal is dire and the lyrics are a massive load of sentimental gash. Did it get to number 1?
