I'd take that to the bank;

throw in The Rapture, The Walkmen and My Morning Jacket. Plus let Sebastien Tellier do a full set and I reckon we're away.

Plus a bit more stuff you can dance to, and a bit of hip-hop (as if!) - lets say nice safe but still brilliant stuff like The Roots and Blackalicious.

The Killers
Razorlight
REM

This will be 2009, not 1995

(in reference to the headliners)

2009 is shit. There is little to no good new music coming out of this country

No one if the UK is being adventurous or straying away from the fold.

And also, hardly 1995. More like 1992-1993, when 36 Chambers and Ill Communication and Dirty came out. Although 'Portishead' did come out in 94.

Still old music>new music

The Knife and Devo headlining the Uncut on Friday and Saturday.

Flaming Lips headlining Obelisk Sunday.
