Summers to thread!
Alien Lanes next.
Alien Lanes.
Get the Hardcore UFO boxset for the song Finks. Awesome.
Alien Lanes, Propeller and Vampire Titus are ace as well.
i've not delved into the later stuff yet.
I'm a HUGE fan
Yeah defo get
• Alien Lanes
• Propeller
• Vampire On Titus
• Bushes Under The Stars
Also if you have some spare cash the Hardcore UFO's box is worth every penny.
The latter stuff is fun. Earthquake Glue is great and Universal Truths has some great tracks too.
Once you've cracked GBV you can't really go wrong. The songwriting is brilliant.
Shit
I forgot
Mag Earwig! is a cross between the lofi and the hifi, the mix is nice and theres some huge rockers on there. At times it's been one of my faves by them. It's always changing, too many good lps.
I Am A Tree
Tune!!!!
Don't bother
Alien Lanes
Under The Bushes
Propeller
that'll do ya for now :D
Where can you get hold of
I drove a tank? heard it at Reading fest, can't find it anywhere...
Robert Pollard (solo album)
Choreographed Man of War.
great live tune, indeed!
for all your GBV needs check out the database: www.gbvdb.com ;-)
Cheers!
Will track down...
Under the Bushes... is my fave, by the way. high quality lo-fi, if you see what I mean...
definitely one of my faves as well
Under The Bushes was my first ever GBV album - I fell in love with the Official Ironmen Rally Song almost straight away and the rest took another two or three weeks...but once it sunk in... wow!

Nobody had Alien Lanes
So I bought Mag Earwhig! instead. Love it so far, and it's making winter a little less bleak.
