Sounds like a Kew for a song
Valentine Low and Elizabeth Hopkirk
23.07.08 The partner of Who guitarist Pete Townshend is spending a week in Kew to produce an album of songs inspired by the area.
Singer-songwriter Rachel Fuller will record her work on a simple eight-track cassette recorder and make it available as a free download.
Fuller, 34, will write about everything from her coffee addiction to the local hairdresser.
Her inspirations will be recorded on a dictaphone, and each day the lyrics will be written on the walls of a studio flat she has bought in Kew. At the end of a week she will perform the tracks in the flat, with her boyfriend acting as studio hand and guitar tuner.
Fuller, a classically trained musician, met Townshend, 63, in 1996 and they now live together in Richmond. She has written songs with him, toured with The Who and presented a webcast music chat show, In The Attic, from Townshend's Oceanic studios in Lavender Hill.
Her most recent project is cowriting a musical, ASH, which will be performed at the Arcola in Dalston next month. But she felt her songwriting had been neglected.
Fuller said: "Having earned some money on the road last year, and determined not to just buy handbags with it, a few months ago I purchased a tiny studio flat in Kew Village - not only as an investment, but as a place for me to be creative.
"My [inner] artist was thrilled and I said, 'You do whatever you like. We have no record company to please, no restrictions, I'm letting you out of the box. If you want to play the church organ naked then so you shall.' So I packed my little bags and have come to live in the flat for a week.
"In the week I live in my room, I intend to write a complete album entitled Kew.
"Each track will correlate to a store [in Kew], what it sells, the kind of people who shop and hang out in it and my relationship with the people and the products.
"God knows why, but my artist is insisting that the lyrics are written on the white walls of the apartment in pencil. "
Townshend visits every day and they dine at Ma Cuisine, the bistro.
Fuller said: "I'm not sure Pete thought I'd go through with it but he thinks it's great and loves that I am writing on the walls."
She persuaded him to add his own message, which says: "You are so beautiful and clever and I love you. Now surely it must be time to come home."
Fuller joked: "I'm going to get him to sign it and if it goes wrong I can sell the room on eBay."
.
"I got him the NOW 70 album from HMV cause i know he's into that sort of music."

Following your visit to the Citizens Advice Bureau, I am writing to you to confirm the following points that we discussed.
You asked for advice about your debts:
In summary our advice is to allow us to help by :
1. Assisting you with bankruptcy, only if agreed it is a viable option for you - this will largely depend on the situation with your car.
We have agreed to take the following action on your behalf (if agreed that bankruptcy is the best option):
1. We will complete all necessary paperwork.
2. Give the relevant advice about the implications, advantages and disadvantages of bankruptcy.
3. Explain the procedure to you so you understand your responsibilities when visiting the court and / or Official Receivers Office.
You have agreed to do the following:
1. Supply information as requested that may be necessary to help with your case.
We would also stress that it is important to maintain payments to your priority creditors as discussed at your initial appointment. If you are unsure what this means please call me, I will return your call if you only have a mobile phone.

A foray into the world of comparative genomics of monkeys, apes and men is very much a double-edged sword.
This essay seems to me to prove that point. The relatively un-treacherous ground of this topic – the strongly accepted notion of common ancestry between primates – the fact that “yes, we can compare primates genomes and see evolutionary patterns and selection patterns”, is both a grail and curse to the essay.

"Hiya,
Could you please give the above a refund on the first £26 that has been taken from her account? Apparently her 8 year old daughter set up the sponsorship for her and somehow got hold of her card details! I have cancelled the commitment so no further payments will be made.
Thank you!

Initial investigations explored the possibility of installing the package components through a
2.5 metre x 3.5 metre hatchway. Although possible, the handling of the equipment through the
hatchway and the transportation of the motor and package baseplate will prove challenging.

As part of a current cost review process across the business, the Practice Groups have been challenged by the Executive and PGHs to review all their current IKS subscriptions. The steer from the Executive and PGHs is that these need to be “pared to the bone” and only those which are essential should be retained or purchased. This includes online subscriptions, loose leaf, law report and journal subscriptions but NOT texts, although requests for new texts must continue to be assessed and checked by IKS PGSG managers by liaising with the relevant PGHs or PLs.
What a right penis upon the plans. A total willy in the cake of this occasion.

Dear Mrs XXXXX
Please note that our Money Advice Service is provided by a team of specialist advisers. You should feel free to talk to another member of our team if I am not available regarding your case.
Yours sincerely
Andrew King
