Self titled album was great
Yes Virginia didn't hold my attention as much. Need to revisit it.
^ pretty much this
^
Nasty version of Two Headed Boy.
Other than that, pretty good.
i saw them live
at Reading 2006 and they were excellent, certainly a highlight for me, so much energy!!
They can never be forgiven
for their version of Two Headed Boy.
TERRIBLE.
I AGREE WHOLE HEARTEDLY
my mum likes them
true story
my mum likes them
true story
OOPS
Does anyone else find them..
just a little bit Drama School? I don't exactly dislike them, but they grate on me.
I loved their first album
and their gig at Madame Jojo's, but then after seeing them at the Scala I kinda went off them a bit- I think as a result of the millions of goth kids that turned up. So that is my Dresden Dolls story.
I really like first one
and never have bothered playing Yes, Virgina...meh.
i always think
of the s/t as having some AMAZING highlights ("Half Jack", "Good Day" and so on) but also some tracks i'm just not bothered about.
Yes Virginia is more...consistently very good, although there's nothing as good as Half Jack on it, but stuff like "Sex Changes", "Sing", "Shores of California", "Backstabber"...brilliant.
I actually really rate Yes, Virginia
Mrs O is a great track.
I first heard of them
because an artist that commented on me did the video for them..they are ok. Image good, music very slightly annoying.
her solo album
"who killed amanda palmer" has leaked and it is also extremely good! :-)
