you're right though, ipod earphones are a joke

I've gotten through3 pairs (i only paid for the original ones that came with it) but am super happy with my senns now

These Sony efforts are.......

Two years old, have been battered to hell and still sound great! 12.60 or less on Amazon

9.73 with 'Photo Kingdom'

on Amazon UK marketplace, including postage and packing!

Yep

the ipod ones are terrible, uncomfortable and sound shit.

I ditched mine after a couple of weeks and bought some Sony ones. Only about £12 and are just grand.

.

these are in my ear right now i have 4 pairs of these in total since 2004, bass is good in them and are very comfortable.hate ipod earphones, you can tell they are shit when they are very light

my advice after having owned at least 97 pairs of headphones

is:
go cheap.
sony is good
so is philips

...

Surely that's an argument against buying cheap headphones made by Sony or Phillips.

lol

Creative EP-630

Basically cheap Sennheiser CX-300s. Good sound, cheap, and reasonably robust for that kind of thing.

Get Sennheiser,

be careful with them, and you'll be happy.

'ipod earphones are a joke'

Public Enermy have let them selvesgo latly aint they.

FUCK IPOD HEADPHONES

in fact, fuck most in-ear headphones. Get some Koss KSC-75s, pretty much the ultimate in budget headphones (about 10 quid)

what the fuck else do you want? Transparent, powerful sound with few competitors in the below £40 price range. Seriously, forget about anything else - it just ain't gonna compare

i completely agree

my other headphones stopped working about a week ago so i had to resort to the ipod ones and they're so shit :( but then again, most earplugs are.

In Ear are shit

I went through a few pairs, including those Sennheser ones. Just fond the sound pretty terrible.

I even bought some £100 Ultimate Ears ones, which went so far into my head I could hear the echos of my footsteps.

Finally went for some old skool over the ear ones. They're like a revolution in sound, leagues better than anything else I've tried.

The only disadvantages are the bag space they take up, and they're a bit warm on the ears on hot days!

These are what I've got £27!:

BOSE!!!

BOSE headphones all the way.

£££

these Grados are

a bit uncomfortable but will get the best out of your i pod

Overpriced

Bose.

Or do you think they are actually worth it?

When it comes to

in-ear Sennheiser or Shure over Bose everytime.

the Sen CX300's out perform any Bose and you can pick them up for less that £20.

At the end of the day if your listening from an i pod your source isn't particularly great and I wouldn;y say its worth investing in anything too expensive.

Saying that, its headphones everytime for me and my i pod: Grado's or Sen PX200's

i didnt even open the packet for mine

when i got my ipod.

BIN.

i've had enough experience listening through other peoples to realise they're utter dogshit.
