Has anybody else read either of his books? (Join Me and Yes Man)

They are extremely simple, basic books that take about 2 days to read but for some reason they have the ability to make me laugh out loud in inappropriate places (on the tube, opposite a much bigger, scarier looking man than I, for example)

I'm bored and not tired at all so wanted to start a thread about this.

He's the guy that's doing that How To Start Your Own Country thing on BBC2 every Wednesday night. Funnier than he looks. He's no Dave Gorman though

Gah, I'm sorry about this rubbish thread

Re: Danny Wallace books

Aye they're both great books. Nothing can bear 'Are you Dave Gorman?' though.

Re: Danny Wallace books

he was at pixies last night. my friend said 'Can I live in your country?', and Danny Wallace said 'Yes, I am your King!'. Then my friend asked for a senator position in the government and he said he'd think about it. No word yet.

Re: Danny Wallace books

Yeah join me is great, havent got round to reading the other yet.

Even though he's good he's still a poor mans Gorman.

Re: Danny Wallace books

I read Yes Man when I was on holiday and I thought it was great. Nice to have a non-serious, heart warming read.

Re: Danny Wallace books

I lookl at his r'randomm acts of kindness' book now and then. It's very funny.
