'they were the sort of band long-view think they are.'
This is so true.
I have all their singles ( i think ) and the album. All very good songs.
Apparently G Prosser had another band after, called Mr Baker who released at least on single on Blue Dog.
I saw them supporting The Dandy Warhols in 1998, they did have some really good tunes - 'Take It Like A Man' was the best one, I can still remember most of the lyrics. The album was a bit disappointing though, and the NME crucified them before they'd even got started and they split not long after. I'd quite like to hear anything Gary's done since, he had a wicked voice and he was incredibly charismatic onstage, even from behind a piano.

I think they split the week the album was released.
I suppose their label released the album by contractual obligation and dropped them immediately ( like the Hormones at the same time ).
B-side 'let go' is one of my favourite songs ever.
Re: Ballroom
