Hi,
I'm an guitarist looking to put a band together to play bluesy-geeky-rocky anthems, rythem and riffs style. I've already written a lot of stuff, and have plenty more in the pipeline. Basically, I have two styles: 1) meaty, riff laden rock, with a smathering of old rock-n-roll riffs, and 2) more thoughtful, laidback songs, but that can be cranked up to anthems when needs be. Oh, and I've recently taken a liking to country music, but I am seeing a doctor about that tomorrow...:P
I am looking for a singer/collaborator to get started with. I really want this band to be a success, so someone with good stage charisma and, wait for it, the ability to sing would be ideal. I am not scared of success or the hard work that goes into it, and neither should you. Male or female, straight or gay doesn't matter.
Me, I'm in my early twenties, and have been playing for 12 years. I dress like a trendy urban professional, but am not a full on hoxtonite or camden puppy. Oh, and I speak with a hugh grant accent, but it's okay I'll keep my mouth shut in the interviews so no one will know. Willing to work out a band image with the others, I value music more but how you look is important too.
Anyway, if this in anyway appeals to you, let me know. Seriously, i believe my songs are good, and that if we get out there we will suceed. Yeah, I know, everyone thinks that, but I'm better than them :P
