Re: Very Fast Very Dangerous

fucking awesome album, reuben rock hard!!

Re: Very Fast Very Dangerous

DIS havent reviewed it...www.joyzine.co.uk

Re: Very Fast Very Dangerous

DiS have reviewed it now and unfortunately don't appear to be of the same opinion as us. I reckon they expect too much.

Reuben rock and rock hard, yet you can always sing along to it and learn to play it, I can't see how that is a bad thing.

I just wish some reviewers would put their own prejudices aside and review the album for what it is rather than what they expected.

Re: Very Fast Very Dangerous

people are expecting far too much from reuben, this is definetly showing the snobbery of the people of DiS.

Re: Very Fast Very Dangerous

totally, DiS reviewers are getting increasingly harsh, could they be getting too NME for it's own good?

I wonder what their review of Oceansize's album will be like? A complete slagging probably

Re: Very Fast Very Dangerous

I really don't like Reuben or Oceansize's new LPs at all, despite the amount of times I've tried.

For the record I have previously LOVED both bands.

I think your DiS sentiments seem a little strange when we keep getting behind so many records, just obviously whenever the one or two records come about that we don't like we get attacked for it.

Re: Very Fast Very Dangerous

i wasnt attacking DiS, well partly, my attack was more at the people who are commenting on how bad reuben now are.

putting out a very simlar album ok......but how the hell does that make them a worse or better band. Hot Water Music released lots of similar albums, yet their fans still love them. so why the hubub with reuben

???????????????

Re: Very Fast Very Dangerous

if you get my point

Re: Very Fast Very Dangerous

What does "getting too NME for it's own good" mean?

DiS hasn't shrunk, nor does it give away hair gel or arrange tours in co-ordination with retailers of average slacks.

So, um, huh?
