I (think) I amused some people on the limerick thread

And I had a conversation with a bird
not a lady - a big Hooded Crow/Jackdaw thingy that was sitting on top of a car near my house and screaming at all the passers by in a scarey 'caaaww' edgar allan poe kind of way.
It was a bit surreal actually as I was walking along reading Aleister Crowley's 777 and this crow was definately some kind of evil spirit so I 'caaawwwed' back at him a couple of times and he 'caaaawed' in reply - This exchange went on for about three minutes before he gave up and flew away - people were actually staring and watching this little exchange.

Other than that - every time I look out of my window at the sunny stockholm autumn evening I am full hearted with joy at the beauty of nature - I should take a picture and put it on my profile - it's awesome

Well today is my birthday. I got some nice cards and a digital camera (will need to change the profile pic soon) and going out to a nice Mexican restuarant with some friends later.

btw does anyone know why it is tradition in offices to buy cakes or sweets etc for the whole office?

No actually you didn't because... about an hour after finding the bag of Haribo, i also found a full bar (unopened) of mint aero. And i mean a big bar.

Now thats happiness.

I had to work today, at a conference that I organised. I got up at 6:30. But now I am home with a beer and I don't have to be in work until Monday afternoon.
