Who are we all recommending this weekend then?

Here's mine:
The Research's album, it's great. Belle and Seb with a less fey approach.
Viva Voce - New single preceeds double pack release of their albums in December, they are totally out there with the whole cute psychadelica thing
The Most Terrifying Thing - Check this..Not everyone's cup of tea, but their single is out to download on monday from www.seecarecords.co.uk, worth a look for Husker du, Feeder fans maybe?
Shit Disco - New single coming soon on Fierce Panda...liking it lots.

      No, they're pretty good. Clor have remixed the lead track (surprise surprise) - They are glasgow based...the single is out in November, and very good it is too..

    I think it was The Most Terrifying Thing that I saw in London a while back. I liked them. They looked good and sounded rocking. May check them out again.

    I agree with Giant Drag- every time I hear them on my mp3 player, I think "This band is amazing, who are they again?" But I've never really properly paid much attention to them.
    I'm loving Kubb, Leaves and Mew at the moment.

      Saw The Race yesterday, they have a single out today. I think I like them, but I saw them in the daylight (which is confusing if you are seeing a band unless it's a festival).

      Also liking Beanz on Toast - but can't find a website for him - anyone else got an ideas?
