Re: The Rakes at Koko tomorrow

I don't think I've heard a Rakes song, are they good?

Re: The Rakes at Koko tomorrow

Yes. And it's only 12 pounds, and there's those ^^^^ people supporting and it'll be club nme after so it'll be fun!! G'won.

Re: The Rakes at Koko tomorrow

I'd quite like to see the Rakes, cause the few songs I saw at T were rather good. But I'm working Saturday, booo!

Re: The Rakes at Koko tomorrow

Alright I suppose, nothing too special. Kinda riding the Bloc Party bandwagon a little in terms of a slight post punk rip off sound.

Well when I saw them half of Bloc Party were also playing with them so that could explain the similar sound! and that twat from the Towers of London was there as well...

Re: The Rakes at Koko tomorrow

Did anybody else think that live supergroup track was better than The Rakes version?

The live on had a bit of incendiary punkism to it, the single's a heap of crud.
