"Tell All Your Friends" was bloody brilliant. Have got a few tracks off of the 2nd album on various comps. This is good news though, as they are one of the better emo bands.

Again i disagree, judging by the band Nolan formed after leaving TBS, he wasn't the only brains behind the band. The new guitarist has brought in a new sound, its less punky, and in my eyes is therefore not as emo. The vocals are better, the hooklines are immense, and that guitarists voice is pretty cool.

I haven't heard the second album in full so I can't say which is better. But the first album is pretty damn good. I also like the one Straylight Run song I've heard very very much but that might be an anomaly.

Adam Lazzara (TBS singer and actually pretty hot) was going out with Michelle Nolan, the sister of John Nolan, Straylight Run founder, and then TBS guitarist and back-up vocals. At some point Lazarra, apparently slept with some girl, as rock stars seem to do...

Nolan got pissed off and took the Bassist with him to form SR.

This event is also notable for bre-igniting the Brand New-TBS feud thing.

Now i've never gotten this Brand New - TBS feud. Is the feud between Lazarra and Lacey or Nolan and Lacey?

I seen Straylight Run supporting Brand New so i'm guessing it must be the former.

I liked Blink and i prefered Boxcar. This sounds like it will be a step up fron that.

Jesse Lacey from Brand New fucked Nolan's girlfriend. Michelle Nolan has nothing to do with it either.

Nolan and Lazzara then fell out over something else, but apparantly they have kissed and made up.

Also.. if you listen to Straylight's stuff.. and listen to it, it's fucking ace. Just listen to "Now it's Done".

I didn't know about the new EP though, so now you got me all happy, and suchlike.

P.S. about Angels and Airwaves.. I dunno.
Blink 182 turned very crap and they are by far the worse band I've ever seen live. But Boxcar Racers stuff had a bit more filler. Have to be careful about this.. but I knew he was up to something.

Sorry, it was Nolan a doing the fucking, and Lacey a doing the crying.

At least that's what I read somehere. I'd never heard that Lazarra had been sleeping with people, and I'd never heard that Nolan's sister had anything to do with it.

But I only read leik 7 different things.

Nolan got with Laceys girl, hence Sebenty Seven Times Seven, and Nolans reply in "There's no I in team"

When Nolan left, Lacey restarted the fight on behalf of his friend.

Yes. They made up and there was a truce between the bands.

Now there isn't. But i suspect they both bregrudingly admire each other, especialy since its now proven Lazarra is capable in songwriting.

But is it Lazzara or Mascherino (new guitarist) now doing the writing??

I suspect it's both, or just Lazzara cause the lyrical hooks and style are very similar to the first album.
Reading their lyrics is always fun, innit, cause they always print them in this illogical and apparantly random order.
