i just downloaded prodigy's your love remix version and it is class the old hairs on the back of the neck were tingling again c,mon

Just shows how ignorant you are. The Prodigy started ten years after the start of rave and they were influenced by bands from five years earlier than that.

i grew up in the underground rave scene you prick.
went to warehouse raves and enjoyed the dj's of old playing the old classics.
reminissing about your love coz i heard it for the first time in a long time tonight.
did not say the prodigy were pioneers you muppet.
but they have been a valid part of the e generation.

Controversial! Dates and names then?

The "Where Evil Lurks" EP came out in February 1991 - making rave start in 1981! And The Prodigy were influenced by which bands from 1976?! Kraftwerk at a real stretch.
