one, two, three, lots

i had one of those moments today, where you realise just how amazing an album is. i've liked this built to spill album since i got it, but only kind of 'yeah, this is a nice album, not sure why its considered a classic, though'..but i put it on today, and it was just really amazing all the way through. i think i'm going to set it so it wakes me up tomorrow morning.

but its weird, because the songs arent all in a conventional structure - like theres a solo in 'carry the zero' that goes on for at least 2 minutes, but you dont notice it because its just like a magical melody rather than a big guitar wankery session. that's just my two coins.

i seem to be having less and less these days. but i did write a 2000 word opus on my typewriter earlier, detailing a conversation between two people from magazine clippings that were left on my desk. so it's still coming out...just not into here.
