Today

Emily Kane by Art Brut.
3 times in a row.

weird

i love art brut, lots and lots. but i really just don't like that song. have never liked it a lot, though its story is charming and lovely.

BLOOD ON THE WALL

"Right to Lite Tonight" or indeed any of the songs off "Awesomer", which lives up to it's title rather nicely.

'D-7'

by Wipers. About a trillion times today and yesterday.

APPROXIMATELY a trillion.

at the moment

scout niblett - kidnapped by neptune

Whenever

I like a song I will literally listen to it non-stop for days until I get sick of it. Most recently this was Caleb Meyer by Gillian Welch.

right now

jesus and mary chain - crackin' up

Lately

it's been Needy Girl by Chromeo. What a tune.

is that the noisestar vinyl track?

if so, i wholeheartedly agree!

today

Your Ex-Lover is Dead by Stars.

Yes.

I recorded all three of the session discs to computer after I bought them and then encoded them as 192kbps mp3s.

I'm such a big geek! :-D

Bah

Put on the Edmund Fitz instead, Chris.

I still get a little lump in my throat when I think that I'll not see it performed live again. :'(

I have a few of these at present.

they make for good "about to leave the house" moments:

Futureworld - Trans Am
Take On Me - Cap'N Jazz
Yawn, Yawn, Yawn - Les Savy Fav
Assassins - Lightning Bolt
Anything by Arnocorps...

currently

This Isn't It by Giant Drag, even though I've had it for a year now. It reminds me of Christmas.

hmmm

the golden virgins-light in her window. Does anyone else like that song?

I do

Renaissance Kid is a good'un too.

cool

yeah Its a great song, but I prefered the darker songs on the album like staying sober!
D'ya think I should start a golden virgins thread?

I'm stupid

I bought their debut single on Rex and thought it was ace, but never ventured any further with them. I've since seen the album in MVE for £2 and still not bothered investing.
