Lots of gigs I'm looking forward to in the next few months (although I haven't actually got tickets to any of them!): Coldcut, Tuung, Hush The Many, The Books, Jim Noir, Laura Veirs, The Wrens, Forward Russia...

What gigs is everyone else looking forward to in 2006?

I'm with you on The Wrens

That's going to be amazing!

Other than that Death Cab For Cutie is the only other one I've got lined up, but hopefully I'll be able to add more soon.

Yeah

that's probably the must see one for me at the moment. Should really get round to buying myself a ticket...

so far

Tunng, AIDS Wolf, Castanets & Jana Hunter and the prospect of Oneida/Liars etc doing ATP warmups are the only things I'm aware of but they please me so.

I

like the sound of the first weekend but I think I might have some serious friends cajoling to do.

I'm going the second weekend

Shins and Dinosaur Jr is an offer too tempting to pass up.

Fuck

I wish I could go to ATP, it looks so ace.

why can't you?

it's worth the pain of a couple of flights, surely?!

Well, I would consider flying back for it

but it's four days I need off isn't it?We'll be nearing the end of the trip then so the chances of me getting any days off will be slim to none.

hmm

yes, you'll need four days. Never mind, they seem to have far too many each year to go to now, and they're all brilliant, so you'll be able to go to one when you get back.
