was round a friends house, just bought loads of booze, bought my ticket for a club in town, and after about one sip felt totally sick and kinda death like, had to get a lift to train station to go home, missed train, sat in the rain for an hour then got home and puked all night.
i noticed it was new years during a brief pause in puking and hearing fireworks.
and my friend now has the arse wit me for leaving her.

After, I needed a stiff drink after the intitial shock.

but while i was travelling today it was clear other people had awful new years so far. there was an accident and we had to stop and help out. apparently a german tourist forgot that you drive on the left side of the road in south africa. luckily no one was hurt though... too badly.

was good but I had an awful one last year - on medication and thus not drinking, surrounded be pissed up idiots, most of whom I didn't really know. Friend of a friend's party type thing. Rubbish.

till 12! for gods sake. in fact, only till 11.55 cos then we stopped serving got a drink in ourselves and toasted the NewYear(boring fucks didnt even bother with a countdown). which then meant i had to wait a while till i could drive but couldnt find anyone who stayed out long enough to join.

mine
was run of the mill and very low key.......went to a bar in cardiff, drank til pretty boozy and then sort of spend large amounts of the night staring into thin air in a world of my own.....mulling over what i am going to do this year!
highlight of the night being my mate pulling a girl that looked just like gary neville....and he told her this and the smakced him and went off with a middle ages fella wearing a kilt!

the best time ive ever had on NYE. Went to Lost to see Juan Atkins the detroit techno master. Danced solidly from 10 till 6. Steve Bicknell and Luke Slater were really good too. Did anyone else go to this?
Jeff Mills is going to be at the same club (Soundshaft/Lost) on Feb 26th I think.
i went to
my mates house, where we drank for about 5 hours, watched Jules Holland (which was shit, but the countdown was ok) listened to LCD Soundsystem, then we fucked off to another house party, played Tekken Tag and danced to Goldfinger. It was good, but went all too fast and i've got work tomorrow.

was fun. we were planning to go to a burlesque club night in bethnal green but that was sold out so we ended up in a party in brick lane complete with rooftop terrace and djs for each of the different rooms. i danced a lot and spilled wine over myself.
