Re: homeless in oxford

Dunno about where to live (try to avoid miles and miles down cowley road) but might buy you a drink at a gig or something. Are you at brookes? (judging by the early return/lack of accomodation ;)

Re: homeless in oxford

yeah, cool, assuming i'm not dead and/or homeless.

brookes, of course, just wanted to go oxford so i could get some credit for owning the Drill Ep.

Re: homeless in oxford

hehe. Thank god Im not the only one who wants to go to Oxford for that reason.....!

Re: homeless in oxford

Haha... is that early radiohead or something?

Thom Yorke can occasionally be spotted in Jericho (posh bit of town) pushing his baby about. The local musos all seem to think he's a bit of a grumpy sod.

Re: homeless in oxford

yeah, first "radiohead/yorke" single if you exclude On A Friday, Headless Chickens, Flickernoise stuff.

it sorts the men from the boys, so to speak.

i'm going on a flat finding mission in oxford (wherever that is....) tomorrow, any cool music stores/bars with noticeboards etc?

Re: homeless in oxford

music stores - polar bear records on cowley road is quite reasonable, one of the few local indie record shops. There's a big vinyl bargain basement place and a more expensive DJ oriented place at gloucester green

noticeboards... hmm.

try the daily info (local noticeboard type fold out publication with ads and website: http://www.dailyinfo.co.uk/)
