Capsule have confirmed that their SuperSonic Festival will return this year after a bomb scare closed 2005's event early. The two-day fest' will take place over the 21st and 22nd of July.
Held at Birmingham's Custard Factory across three stages - two indoors, one outside - SuperSonic showcases the very finest alternative acts around, and we mean alternative. This isn't the Reading Festival punk stage: previous years have seen dälek, Jesu, Battles, LCD Soundsystem (pictured), DJ Scud, The Egg, Psychic TV and Merzbow perform. Last year's festival was totally amazing. I am so there. And if there aren't lots of other DiSers there too, I shall be cross. Seriously, this is the BEST FESTIVAL EVER. And it's in the most beautiful venue, which will make you disregard any ideas about Birmingham not being pretty.

...was most fun last year, bombs aside. Much fun. The mini-bus ride home was funny shit: approaching nirth London we were all, like, "Ooooh, show me HENDON..."
