Sigur Ròs' breakthrough EPs, Svefn-g-Englar and Ny Batteri, have been re-issued.

The four-track CDs date back to 2000, and contain tracks from the band's second long-player, Agaetis Byrjun. The re-issues coincide with the band playing a few dates in March.

DiScuss: Does anyone else's original (light blue) copy of Svefn-g-Englar fuck up at the end of the title track? Mine does - it's pressed slightly wrong, I guess. Is this some kind of collectable or do another 100,000 people have it?

I don't think mine does.

The end of the track ends with a sort of squelch similar to the end of Karma Police anyway doesn't it? Blimey, the fact that I can't remember means it is seriously time to dig it out and give it a spin again.

Mine starts skipping...

...like, it makes the time onthe display run too fast... the cover is also light blue, not dark like I saw it everywhere else apart from where I got it (Virgin in Warrington... probably why the fucker doesn't play right).

Doesn't matter - it's on the album anyway innit.

must just be the light blue ones as thats what i've got, I think the dark blue one was a re-release or 2nd pressing

mine does that too, is it worth anything because i don't like them anymore.

hmmm

The song's supposed to do that isn't it?! Pretty sure it does it on the vinyl too...
