Artists: Mclusky
For those of you who are lamenting the demise of Welsh punk gods Mclusky, fear not; a last hurrah is coming your way. The band's best of, Mcluskyism, is set for release at the end of February and will be made available in two formats.

There's the standard, best-of singles collection for those unfortunate enough never to have listened to the restaurant-torching trio before now - and for the fans a triple disc package containing the aforementioned disc of A-sides, a disc containing all the band's b-sides and (just in case you didn't already have enough non-sequitors in your life) a third disc containing demos and live tracks.

Carefully selected by messir Andy Falkous, Mcluskyism looks set to prove once and for all that not only was their band better than your band; they really did have more songs than a song convention.

I've got a tape...

with demos by Best (Mclusky before they became Mclusky), Mo-Ho-Bish-O-Pi, Terris and Curveside.

Now who wants to touch me?

I have a Best CD, too

DON'T touch me.

I was

at that ULU gig that the live tracks are from. It was possibly the least enjoyable show I saw of theirs but I guess ULU usually sounds pretty good so thats why they chose it.

So going to buy the 3 disc set even though I can't afford. Damn being such a completist.

£8.99

(for once the approx makes sense)
it's pretty cheap considering something or other

I miss them

so so so so much....

Me too

If more bands were as bad-ass as Mclusky the world would be a much, much better place.

will

be buying this.

wooooooooo!

the only time I managed to see mclusky, chapple kicked some pissed-up idiot off the stage and he landed on his head and knocked himself out.

definitely be getting this...mind you, their b-sides generally suck.

not

whiteliberalonwhiteliberaction and provincial song. both of those songs own my life.

Ah

I think I was at that gig (working). Was it when Chapple booted the geezer in the back when he was looking out at the crowd? Incredibly dangerous, but (shamefully) his expression as he realised he was floor-bound was priceless.

Where was it?

was at this gig too

and the following night for their last gig supporting shellac and they looked like a band that were about to split... falco & chapple just bickering amongst themselves and trying to be funnier than the other... sad...

Bring on the three disc set, mind...

Seems like stating the obvious...

...but Mclusky rule(d) with an iron fist.

yes

yes and yes

Does anybody know...

If the triple disc package will be PURE 196CD or PURE 197CD ???

playlouder say

197. for what its worth..

Thank you

Sir.

will buy it

if it's not too expensive !

It's well worth it!
