Ash, The Black Crowes and Proud Mary have been announced as some of the support acts for Stereophonics' two 'A Day At The Races' gigs this summer.

Stereophonics, whose single 'Mr. Writer' is out this week, also took the opportunity to slag off predictable pop targets Hear'say and saviour of British music Muse, in an action-packed press conference on Monday afternoon.

More support acts for the two open air concerts at Donington and Chepstow Race Courses in July will be announced soon. Expect Toploader.
