Death to the BNP! A date for your diary!

The second, Love Music, Hate Racism Carnival, takes place in Burnley on Sunday April 27th which is just four days before May's local elections when two of the Nazi BNP's Burnley councillors are up for re-election.

The line-up announced so far includes Basement Jaxx, Elbow, and dis-faves Miss Black America. We'll keep you updated as more acts are confirmed.

Arranged by the Anti-Nazi league, the love/hate event, is planned to "use the positive energy of the music scene to fight back against the racism being pushed by Nazi organizations such as the British National Party, National Front and Combat 18."

LMHR Carnival... who's playing

a spot of research would have shown that there's other bands playing too, like antihero. but then we can't expect to see anything about actual decent up and coming bands on here, can we?

Sorry, I shoulda spent 3hours looking at every band in the uk's website to see if they're playing should i?

If Antihero are playing, it'll go in the news story nearer the time.
