Fierce Panda and Pointy Records run the 'Club Fandango' nights in London village, and have been foolish enough to let us choose some of the bands once a month, gig whores that we are. And here is the next gig for you.

The Thing: CLUB FANDANGO in association with www.drownedinsound.com

The Stardate: TUESDAY 25th FEBRUARY 2003

The Artistes: THE DOPAMINE THEORY + SUMMERTEETH + THE PHIL COLLINS 3 + AUGUST 81

The Place: LONDON CAMDEN DUBLIN CASTLE (94 Parkway, London NW1. 020 7485 1773)

The Time: 8.00pm until 1.00am

The Damage: £5.00 OR £4.00 WITH FLYER FROM www.clubfandango.co.uk

The Vibe: an evening of wobbly sonic blasts and pop wizardry

The Bands:

** THE DOPAMINE THEORY formed mid 2001, soon recorded some well-received demos, the most recent of which was for EMI Publishing. Claire Sturgess has described them as "a riotous, rock and roll romp". Having been fairly quiet on the London gig circuit recently, this will be a welcome return for them to Club Fandango.
THE DOPAMINE THEORY ARE ONSTAGE AT 10.45PM

** SUMMERTEETH are from the rock'n'roll central that is Frome. Comprising of two brothers and two friends, they spent a couple of years recording hundreds of songs in the bedroom, inspired by the likes of Pixies and Sparklehorse. Their debut single will soon be released on Purr Records.
SUMMERTEETH ARE ONSTAGE AT 10.00PM

** THE PHIL COLLINS 3 are from Brighton and are purveyors of the mad 1-minute, stop-start punk tune. They are sure to play such future classics as 'John Craven's Paper Round' and 'Chicken Nutsack'. Indeed.
THE PHIL COLLINS 3 ARE ONSTAGE AT 9.15PM

** AUGUST 81 hail from the Scottish capital, creating a bit of a buzz around them with appearances at T In The Park and In The City. Not a million miles from the school of Placebo/Manics rock. This will be their first London gig.
AUGUST 81 ARE ON STAGE AT 8.30
