I'll be in London. Any good gigs on the nights of December 7-11? I'm a visitor and hope to see a great band like....uh..."I AM KLOOT" or you know, something good like that or The Notwist, The Chameleons, The Strokes, Doves, etc. etc.

You know; stuff like that? Any help is much appreciated.

sorry too, I'm slightly "unsobered" at the moment.

SERIOUS
tuesday night at the cherry jam (nearest tube royal oak)
low profile mystery jets gig - theyre booked to headline the camden underworld at some point in the nearish future, and this is going to be just a low profile, low pressure, fun gig for them, and as such its going to be quite the bundle of fun.
get there early (8ish)

oh, and stylistically, they have dancier, electronicised indie in the vein of the notwist, as well as garagey pop and jeff buckleyish balladarady

There's a DiS Alldayer on Sunday 7th December @ the Windmill in Brixton. Details to follow on this site at the end of the week.

Re: December 7-11, London GIGS?

Electric Six, Basement Jaxx and Kings Of Leon are all playing during those dates, though I expect may all be sold out... Cat On Form are playing on Dec 11th, if you like very loud bands.

And yes, we're gonna have 6 bands on on Dec 7th! :-D It's a venue about a 10 min walk from a tube hole.

Re: December 7-11, London GIGS?

thanks much for your tips and information.

have you heard of a club called "blue?" It's a pub that has bands, I think it's in soho...but not sure. I want to see a band called "Life After Marvin." Let me know and thanks again!
