Re: Album of the year

Yes, we should be able to sort out some kind of proper reader's vote thing. Hang on to yr horses.

Re: Album of the year

I agree with the bloke, Mars Volta's is the best this yeer.
Muse's album was a slight let down. Up The Bracket by the Libertines was a bit raw, but still v.good.

Re: Album of the year

FYI: Up the Bracket was released in summer 2002. Yes, yes, I know it was re-released this year, but that doesn't count, surely. Hard to say who's best - Kings Of Leon, The Stripes, Cave In and Oceansize all brought out storming albums tho.

Re: Album of the year

biffy clyro, jetplane landing, stellastarr* have all had great albums this year...i cant choose..

Re: Album of the year

There were a few that I liked, but I must say, Mars Volta is amazing. They surely have my vote. Interesting that they got really horrid reviews though. Why the hell do we have critics anyway?

Re: Album of the year

British Sea Power for me, without too much thought really. Wahey!

Re: Album of the year

Snow Patrol - Final Straw,
Radiohead - Hail To The Thief,
Maximillian Hecker - Rose,
Carina Round - The Disconnection,
Mew - Frengers,
The Rapture - Echoes,
The Postal Service - Give Up,

They're just the first that come to mind.

sp-x
