Hard-Fi singer Richard Archer has told The Star that the band will auction their Brit Award - if they win one - on eBay. DiS was unaware that there was a category this year for Blandest Clash Rip-Off of the Past 12 Months.
Each winning band apparently receives only one genuine statue, with any others being cheaper replicas. On hearing this news, Archer reportedly said: "Maybe we could melt it down and make four little ones?"
This was followed by: "Or, we’ll put it on eBay. It could pay for the first instalment on my hot tub. I like the idea of being showbiz and putting one in the garden.”
We like the idea of you fading into substandard indie obscurity, please...

As for The Clash, any of you music worthy enough to know what they actually sound like? Why don't u all hop on the band wagon of 'the next big thing' thats original eh!
