This is the first time I've not put gel on my hair to leave the house in about four years. It feels kinda liberating.

Also, uninterestingly at uni I shaved all my hair off and was a full on skinhead for about a year... without the bigotry or violence of course.

I have a thick head of hair, and I've worn gel/wax/whatever most of my life. Hats make you go bald, but not gel.

I had a drastic hair change this summer
from long, blonde and side-parted to shortish, brown and with a fringe. I'm bored of it now, and trying to get back to my normal hairstyle - it's taking forever though!
I once went from long brown hair to long blonde hair
and then short blonde hair... it was wierd - I was treated very differently as a blonde... Now I want my long brown hair back.. it's happening slowly.

I've gone from
Shoulder-Length to Grade-1 all over twice in my life now, and the week or so after you shed all that hair is amazing (you longhairs cannot appreciate how cool rubbing your head feels when you have 2cm-long hair)!
Then you spend months regretting it, and grow it back. So don't!
