If anyone thinks I'm being cynical, check my profile for a mass of (cough) "uncool" bands. Remember this: "Morning Glory" got rubbish reviews then everyone changed their tune when it sold millions. "Be Here Now" got ecstatic reviews then everyone changed their tune when it didn't do as well. It's amazing how often the press give people what they want (because of the all important circulation) rather than what they really feel...

the Rolling Stones i dont really get. Oasis are alright, but rip off everyone they've ever heard of. Nirvana are played to death so much that I never want to own a Nirvana album. Coldplay are overrated. Guns N Roses are possibly the most overrated. All this hype to Chinese Democracy, yet they aren't exactly groundbreaking are they? I tend to put them in the same bracket as Aerosmith, Bon Jovi etc.
