I can't think
of a better Stevie Wonder cover than Higher Ground from Mothers Milk. I've got about the first five or so albums by RHCP and still listen very occasionaly but have no desire to buy anything new from them. The irrational hatred shown by some needs addressed but at least you're letting it out on here rather than bottling it up.

I used to love RHCP
Mothers Milk and Blood Sugar Sex Magik were two of my favourite albums for a while. I liked a few songs off of One Hot Minute too. I've never seen them live but I can imagine it being a good show if you are still a fan, they've got enough songs to play. Sadly their most recent material has bored me but I think that's just me getting older. I can imagine for a 16 year old, seeing a band like RHCP would be amazing.
